Meet Miss Cherokee Rose 2012

Mary Ashley is the 21 year-old daughter of John and Della Tucker of Woodstock.  She is a junior at the University of Georgia, majoring in Broadcast Journalism, where she is an Orientation Leader, Tour Guide for the UGA Visitor's Center, ugaMiracle Ambassador and works for a student-run television station that broadcasts live to all of Northeast Georgia.  Mary Ashley's platform is UGA Miracle, a student-run philanthropy that raises money for Children's Miracle Network, specifically for Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.  Their major event is a 24-hour dance marathon every spring. 

Mary Ashley reigned as the very first Miss Cherokee County Outstanding Teen in 2007 and we are proud to once more have her represent us.
