Brooke Michelle Doss

Brooke is the 16 year-old daughter of Jason and Susan Doss and sister of Hunter. She helps to cultivate over 20 different varieties of organic fruits and vegetables in the family garden and helps to raise cows.  Her pet cow, Tinkerbelle, recently gave birth to Tinkerbill and her calf, Spot, Jr., won the Miss Cherokee Rose Precious Photo Contest.  Pageantry runs in the Doss family; mom Susan is a former crown winner also.  Brooke is a sophomore who has maintained a 4.0 since kindergarten and her favorite subject is American History.

Brooke has studied dance for thirteen years and currently teaches dance at Dancenter South in Woodstock.  She has performed at Disney World,  the Piccolo Spoleto Festival and with the Hermitage Ballet of St. Petersburg, Russia.  She has performed the role of Clara in THE NUTCRACKER and has studied with the Georgia Ballet and the Metropolitan Ballet Theatre.  Brooke hopes to combine her farm and dance worlds by being a professional dancer and a veterinarian.

Brooke lives her  platform everyday on the farm; "Reducing our Carbon Footprint:  Teens Live Green!" is truly her way of life.  She hopes to raise awareness about the environment, to educate about sustainable living practices, and mobilize teens to act as a catalyst of change in their homes and communities.  She provides information and tips for living green at her website, Teens Live Green, and her monthly column in the Around Town Community magazines.

Brooke was amazing at Miss Georgia's Outstanding Teen!  She placed in the Top 15, the highest ever ranking of a Miss Cherokee Rose Outstanding Teen.
