Forum 2010

   Miss Cherokee Rose Michaela Grace Lackey and Miss Cherokee Rose Outstanding Teen Brooke Doss attended the Miss Georgia Forum Weekend in Columbus, GA March 6-7. They were accompanied by their mothers, Sherri Lackey and Susan Doss and Cherokee Rose Board members Claudia, Robin and Amanda.   The ladies attended seminars and classes to help prepare them to compete at Miss Georgia and Miss Georgia's Outstanding Teen in June.  The highlight of the weekend was the FairyTale Ball hosted by Miss Georiga 2009 Emily Cook.  Michaela was a vavavavoom Princess Tiger Lily and Brooke was a beautiful Tinkerbelle.  Claudia was a hit as Wendy, Robin was Peter Pan and Sherri was Captain Hook with Susan and Amanda as her pirate crew.  On Sunday the ladies drew their contestant numbers for pageant week:  Michaela is Mu 4 and her competition order will be Wed. - Swimsuit; Thur.- Talent; Fri. - Evening Gown and of course on Sat. - do it all again as a TOP TEN.  Brooke is Blue 2 and her competition order is Wed. - Evening Gown; Thur. - Fitness; Fri. - Talent and on again on Saturday - TOP TEN.  Make plans to be in Columbus June 16 - 19 to cheer our queens on to the big crown.
